 We have several years of start-up experience. The core team is experienced, with backgrounds in the insurance industry, internet technology development and marketing, enterprise system development, business management and, investor funded startups. President / Industry Expert: Libby Lowther Administrative Oversight/Public Relations. Libby Lowther began her career as an insurance claims professional 1972, and has since remained in that field with the exception of a year in the Bonds and Commercial Underwriting at Commercial Union Insurance Company. After working with Northwestern National and Crawford and Company, where she specialized in handling workers compensation and liability claims, she was employed with Frontier Adjusters of Salt Lake City, expanding into commercial and personal lines property loss adjusting, where she became owner of her own Frontier Adjusters branch office. As owner of her own company, Lowther and Associates, she continued providing multiline adjusting services. Over the last 15 years, she has increasingly specialized in liability investigations for governmental entities. Chief Technology Officer: Chris Hample Oversee budget and accounting. Chris Hample has been developing software solutions for business for over 15 years. He co-founded a software consulting firm, Waza, Inc. Waza developed business solutions, which are still in use, for clients including American Express, Home Depot, S.G. Warburg, and The United Nations. He worked as a financial analyst for the Barnes and Noble Superstore Corporate Office in New York for ten years. In this capacity he created all sales, P&L and real estate forecasting and analysis for the 300 store division. Chris has a unique combination of business and software development experience which enables him to utilize technology to provide the optimal solution rather than merely showcasing the technology itself. VP, Sales & Marketing: Duy Beck Former President/CEO of Global Access, Inc, a telecommunications company, in which he founded, branded, merged, and sold the company in 2001. Former sales with Pfizer Global Pharmaceuticals in which he helped drive the Salt Lake market to #1 in the nation for his lead product, Bextra. Former associate and founder of the University Venture Fund in which he brought a strong background in startup experience/operations. He completed due diligence projects for local venture firms in Salt Lake City (Wasatch Ventures, University Venture Fund) and has worked with venture law firm Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in structuring the Venture Fund. In addition, he had 6 years of leadership experience in the Marines as a former platoon Sergeant and is a graduate from the University of Utah with Honors and a double baccleureate in Business Management and Marketing. |
